This tutorial has been long overdue and now that we got a spare moment here it is.We will go trough a very simple but efficient technique which we use quite often for representing the evening/night time nuances of building facades.I will take a simple scene with a couple of very basic models of typical city towers and low rise buildings. A very common setup for lots of scenes we create.
Then i will go trough all the necessary steps to get your render to look more like the one below.
And of course for those not scared of some Post-Production work in Photoshop, the sky is the limit
