project name: Slussen Masterplan
project location: Stockholm, Sweden
project date: 2009
client: Foster + Partners, London
Below there is a brief break-down of the process of how the aerial view was created: shown is the original photographic plate supplied by the client, the pure 3D rendered image and its integration into the photography.
As you can see, there was quite a bit of retouching that had to be done over the original photo – not only in the area where buildings planned were to be placed. Notice such tiny little details as the main shopping street leading to the railway bridge in the middle. The client specifically requested it to be cleaned from any buildings obscuring it, so that this “spine” can be traced all the way up to the domed structure at the back.

realidad es fascinante la resolucion y la buena captura
